“All along we have heard people say that Jesus was sent to the Jews, But not to Ugandans. This training class has opened my mind that I am able to carry on the gospel as well as to raise other gospel mission ministers”. (Uganda pastor shortly after receiving the first GEM lesson on 2 Timothy 2:2)
“Many strong Timothies dedicated themselves to prayer after the Persevering Prayer lessons. This has resulted in many prayer plants and six new churches. For the first time ever, the government accepted and approved all churches – a process that normally takes years before receiving approval” (Zambia pastor)
“I have looked for an open door into prison ministry for years, but governmental prison authorities opposed preaching and ministering to prisoners. Another participant in the (October 2024) GEM training was head of a local prison. He has helped to open a door to a large prison in the Kampala area, and helped me make connections with other prison heads.” (A Uganda minister)
“Three of the girls who accepted Jesus a Savior after the GEM team taught did not even speak a word (due to trauma) the first three weeks they were here. Now they are boldly sharing the hope they have in Jesus Christ with others!” (Crisis pregnancy director in Rwanda)
“I have not been able to attend any type of Bible college. But I have been taught most of the GEM lessons, and these have become my Bible college. I have taught many of the lessons to others, and because of the depth on Biblical knowledge GEM has brought me, I will be ordained as a Pastor in early 2025.” (Kenyan Christian leader)
A Women’s ministry leader in Uganda wrote she “had in time preached through John 15, but had never understood that the sometimes painful process of pruning from God leads to make us as ministers to bear more lasting fruit. It can be a blessing! We always considered it to be a burden.”
