Ways To Give
Giving comes in many different forms. Grace Extended Ministries International offers several ways for you to become involved in our organization as a supporter. While we always welcome monetary contributions, we also accept gifts of time and resources. Thank you for partnering with us!
The IRS recognizes Grace Extended Ministries International as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Our federal tax ID number is 26-4552283
- One-time or recurring (monthly) donations via personal check. Please mail to:
Grace Extended Ministries International, PO Box 1601, Beaverton, OR 97075 - Set up a recurring donation via an automatic bank check. There is no fee for the giver or the receiver. Your bank automatically sends a check monthly.
- Send a one-time or recurring donation electronically. A 3% fee is charged, and there is an option for the giver to cover the fee if they choose.
Many community-minded companies have employee giving campaigns during which employees can make a one-time gift to GEM or give through payroll deductions. Dollars can also be donated to GEM through workplace charitable campaigns such as United Way by choosing GEM as a recipient on your pledge form. Code numbers vary among local chapters of the United Way. Please check with your workplace-giving administrator to ensure that your contribution goes to Grace Extended Ministries International.
If you work for, or are retired from, one of the many community-minded companies that match employee donations to nonprofit organizations, your contribution to GEM could have twice the impact! Some companies may even pay for your volunteer time in the form of a donation to GEM. Contact your human resources office to find out how your company can match your donation of time or money.
When you include GEM in your will, you build your legacy by ensuring the future of GEM. A bequest to GEM will qualify your estate for a charitable deduction equal to the entire amount you bequeath. Here’s sample language for a general bequest: “I give to Grace Extended Ministries International, whose current legal address is PO Box 1601, Beaverton, OR 97075, the sum of $________ (or specifically describe property or percentage of estate or residual), to be used for its general charitable purposes as the Board of Directors of Grace Extended Ministries International shall determine.”
Donate Stock
By transferring your appreciated shares of stock directly to GEM, you can avoid all capital gains and resulting taxes while supporting a worthy organization. Additionally, the IRS allows you to claim, on your itemized Federal income taxes, the full fair market value of the shares (calculated as the average of the high and low prices on the day GEM receives the shares as a charitable gift).
Mutual Funds and Exchange-Traded Funds (EFTs) can be donated in a similar manner. The fair market value for these donations is determined at the end-of day market close on the day of the gift.
Donate From IRA
Please note if you are 70 ½ or older, consider making a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from your IRA. Unlike other IRA payouts, these direct gifts are not added to your taxable income. If you are 73 or older (75 for those born after 1960) you can donate some or all (up to $111,000) of your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD).
This charitable transfer counts as all or part of your required minimum distribution, and is not added to your taxable income.
For either of these options, this explanation is solely for general education purposes.
Please consult with a qualified tax professional.

GEM strives to keep administrative costs low, so that we can reach more people with the Gospel. Individuals may volunteer one-time, on a regular basis, or for special events. Suggested ways you might help:
- Administrative – monthly communication, mailings, accounting etc. Computer skills are necessary for most of this.
- Special Events such as our annual banquet and other planned fundraising events. Planning, recruitment, set-up, and other opportunities.
- Zoom teaching. GEM teaches and then trains those who have been taught to teach others. Once you have been trained using GEM lessons, we desire you to teach others. Today, some are teaching locally, and others have taught lessons to African students via Zoom.
- You may have other gifting that can help – please let us hear from you!
